Edward Maroon, 31, passed away on March 4, 2018. Ed graduated with a degree in Industrial Supervision and worked as an engineering tech at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard for over ten years. He enjoyed fishing, photography, designing and making things. Ed loved the outdoors and "Saturday wings."

He is survived by his mom, Audrey Smith; sister, Sarah Maroon; stepfather, George Smith; Godparents, Susan and Ken Aicardi; and many aunts, uncles, friends and his turtle “turt” of 26 years.

The family will receive friends on Friday, March 9, 2018 at Graham Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake, beginning at 11 a.m. A service to celebrate his life will begin at noon at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, Ed would simply want people to take personal responsibility for their lives and do their jobs right.
