Sharon Williams Perry, 78, of Haywood Avenue passed away August 25, 2017. Sharon was the daughter of the late C. L. “Lenny” Williams, Jr. and Anniebelle Poyner Williams. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her loving husband of 57 years, Donald Lee Perry. Sharon retired as co-owner and operator of Twines Florist and was a faithful member of South Norfolk Baptist Church. She loved family gatherings, including vacationing with her family in the Outer Banks.
She is survived by her children, Kim P. Beamon (Donnie) and Curtis L. Perry (Malissa); grandchildren, Heather (Jason) and Christopher (Haley); great-grandchildren, Madison and Everly; her sister, Donna Pittman; her special cousin and former business partner, Barbara Parsons (Will); and numerous nieces, nephews and other family.
The family will receive friends on Monday, August 28, 2017 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Graham Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake. A service to celebrate her life will be held Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Ernest Trueblood officiating. She will be laid to rest at Riverside Memorial Park, Norfolk. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to South Norfolk Baptist Church, 1101 Chesapeake Avenue, Chesapeake, VA 23324.
