Betty Runkle Bryant, 85, went to be with the Lord on May 13, 2017. Betty was born in Washington D.C. to the late John and Valeria Paldauf Runkle. .

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 65 years, John L. Bryant, Sr.; daughter, Cheryl A. Teller; sons, John L. Bryant, Jr., Mark A. Bryant; sister, Dianna Johnson; 4 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at Graham Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1112 Kempsville Rd. Chesapeake, on Tuesday May 16, 2017 from 6 to 7:30 pm. A service to celebrate her life will be held on Wednesday May 17, 2017 at 1pm at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest privately at Albert G.
