Festival Memory

Patricia,

Gene & I have a memory of you two hanging in our guest bedroom. No, not a picture.  Allow me to take you on a quick journey back to Greenville, SC....The four of us - you, Dan, Gene & I - were spending tme together during a conference break on a Saturday. There happened to be an outdoor festival (music, artists, food vendors, etc.) on the lawn area around a park just a block or so from the conferece. We were strolling around admiring the talent and commenting on all sorts of unique items there.  Lo and behold!  A bonsai booth.  Very large assortment, too.  Dan was in his element.  He answered all kinds of questions for me, and a few passers-by, as well, since the owner of the booth wasn't around. It was so interesting to hear him explain all about these miniature wonders.  A little later, we came upon a booth that had fan pulls of many types.  I found two really unique wooden ones which I had to get.

So, that is where the memory of you and Dan hangs.  Everytime I enter the room, I see those pulls. My thoughts always went to you two anyway, but now it is with a little prayer for his soul and your peace.

God Bless You - Barbara & Gene Conti
