Obituary for Betty Estelle Brewer
Betty Estelle Brewer,87, went to be with the Lord, April 18, 2017, after a long battle with COPD. Betty was born in Salem, Virginia to the late Edgar and Thelma Beheler. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, James A. Brewer, Jr. and son, Timothy A. Brewer.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Deborah Lucey (Kenneth); son, James Brewer III; sister, Jean Warden, Sharon McCoy; grandchildren, Kenneth Lucey, Jennifer Hale (Brian), Donald Lucey (Amber), James Brewer IV (Tina), Rebecca Freeze; and great-grandchildren, Jordan, Julian, Hunter, Justin, Christian, Grace, Lauren, Jay, Will, Cameron, and Abigail. The family would like to thank the Grace Hospice staff for your wonderful care of our beloved Betty.
The family will receive friends at Graham Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake, on Friday, April 21, 2017, from 5 to 7 p.m. A service to celebrate her life will be held Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Riverside Memorial Park. Please visit her book of memories at www.grahamfuneralhome.com to view the service if unable to attend and to leave a condolence to the family.
