Reva Brown Jones, 92, formerly of the Riverwalk area, went to her heavenly home on March 12, 2017. Reva was born July 15, 1924 in North Carolina to the late Phillip and Nina Matthews Brown. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters, Louise Brown, Nina Lineberry, Miriam Kirby and Mary Cullen; and brother, Phillip Brown. Reva retired from the Norfolk Naval Supply Center after 33 years of service. She was an active member of Woodland Heights Baptist Church, Chesapeake, for over 20 years.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Michael Jones (Tracey) of Chesapeake, VA, David Jones of Hickory, NC; brothers, Joseph Brown of Dayton, OH, and William Brown of Chesapeake, VA; grandchildren, Jayson Jenkins (Amber), Elizabeth Jones, Daniel Jones, Aaron Jones, and Eric Jones; and great-granddaughter, Haylie Jenkins.

A service to celebrate her life will be held Thursday, March 23, 2017 at 11:00 am at Graham Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Chesapeake, with a reception to follow.
