VIRGINIA BEACH- David Garth Palat, 65, passed away at home with his family by his side, August 5, 2016. He was born in Newark, OH to the late Garth and Grace Palat. Besides his parents, he was also predeceased by his sister, Beth Perry; brother, Mark Palat and granddaughter, Emma Grace Palat. David served his country in the US Navy and retired in 1989 as a Senior Chief Petty Officer. He then later retired as an engineer from Unidyne Corp.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 42 years, Barbara Ann Palat; daughter, Daniele K. Goodman (Benjamin); son, Nicholas J. Palat (Melissa); grandchildren, Ethan Goodman, Jordan Palat and Chloe Goodman; sister, Nena Blair and numerous other loving family and friends.
