VIRGINIA BEACH- Gwendolyn Elisabeth Gehring, 76, passed away June 6, 2016. She was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Otto and Emeline Sleesman Gehring. Besides her parents, she was also predeceased by her brother, Richard Gehring. Gwendolyn was a longtime member of Bayside Presbyterian Church, Virginia Beach, Virginia Daughters of the American Revolution, Virginia Beach and was also a member of the Red Hats Society. She was a strong, witty, vibrant woman who loved to travel with her family, friends or even by herself. Her favorite place to visit was Hawaii, where her children were born.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Melissa Marlene Clark; son, Richard Carl Clark and his wife, Meagan; granddaughter, Elizabeth Kellen Wool and numerous other loving family and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 13, 2016 at 11 am at Forest Lawn Cemetery with Dr. Rev. David Rollins officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. Please take the time to leave the family a few words of encouragement.
