CHESAPEAKE - William T. “Bill” Blanchard, Sr., 74, passed away Sunday, November 11, 2012 after a long battle with cancer. He was a member of IUOE local 147 and served as member at large on the executive board for 9 years.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; Children, Angela Bibb (Kent), Billy Blanchard Jr. (Beth), Carla Harrison (Mike), and Kim Thorn (Paul); three grandchildren, Tiffany, Priscilla, and Emily; great-granddaughter, Chloe; and a sister, Martha Garnes.
A service to celebrate his life will be Thursday, November 15 at 12 pm at Graham Funeral Home with Pastor William Thorn officiating. Burial will follow at Chesapeake Memorial Gardens.
