CHESAPEAKE - Dorothy Holbrook Belangia, 82, of the 2500 block of Rodgers Street, passed away March 1, 2012 in Chesapeake. A native of South Norfolk, she was the daughter of the late Franklin and Jodie Holbrook and the wife of the late Gilbert Leroy Belangia, Sr.
A devoted wife, mother and family woman, she is survived and cherished by her three sons, Stephen F. Belangia of Point Harbor, NC; Gilbert L. Belangia, Jr. and his wife, Gloria of New Bern, NC; and Bryan Scott Belangia of Chesapeake; seven grandchildren, Bryan Neil Belangia, Dustin Scott Belangia, Ryan Michael Belangia, Stephanie Anne Belangia, Stephen Jason Belangia, Clinton Joshua Belangia and Shaun Michael Belangia; and ten great-grandchildren.
A funeral service be held on Monday at 2 p.m. in Graham Funeral Home, Chesapeake with a private burial in Riverside Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
