 Our Facilities

The Graham Funeral Home, located at 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake, opened in June of 1998 and is one mile south of the Chesapeake/Virginia Beach city line and two miles from Battlefield Blvd. This beautiful facility features a 250-seat chapel, spacious viewing areas and an 1800 sqf reception center. We are able to provide a full spectrum of services including traditional funeral services, graveside services, cremation services of all types and memorial services, all of which are tailored to meet your family's needs.

Our professional directors are licensed in both Virginia and North Carolina. Someone from our staff is able to assist you seven days a week. Our office hours are daily from 9 am to 4 pm. Should you need assistance at any other time, we are only a phone call away and are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
We can address phone inquiries, visit with you at your home or meet with you at a place of your choosing to facilitate the completion of the funeral arrangements both at the time of need or if you choose to plan in advance.

Our utmost desire is to provide a service that is customized to accommodate your personal wishes and choices and provide a lasting memory.

Visitation Rooms

Our visitation rooms have been tastefully decorated to ensure comfort and serenity at the time of a loss. The magnolia and rose room are a combination room which can be divided if needed. 

Cremation still allows for family and friends to gather and fellowship with on another at a time other than the day of the service.

Our Chapel

Our chapel is not intended to compete against the reverence and respect of the church, it has been tastefully designed as an option for those who wish to have a more formal setting with seating to accommodate up to 250 guest. Conveniently located within the funeral home, it provides a dignified setting for family, friends and the community to gather together and pay tribute to the deceased.  Should more space be needed all of our rooms have the capability to accept the live feed from the chapel.  Also for those friends and family not able to attend we will webcast the service to be viewed in real time at no additional cost.   

Reception Center

Our reception center can provide a convenient setting for a time of fellowship and light refreshments either the night before or following the Celebration of Life service.

Our 1800sqf reception center will allow you plenty of space to visit with family and friends following the service. Please feel free to provide your own food and beverage or ask our staff for suggestions of local catering companies.

Additional Facilities

Here you will find our spacious lobby. It opens to the foyer of the Chapel and adjoins the Magnolia and Rose Rooms for visitation.
