Our Firm

In 1929 J. Robert "Bob" Graham began serving the community of Norfolk County and the City of South Norfolk.  Over the years our firm has seen many changes.  Following the death of Mr. Graham, Louis Dudley, who worked with Mr. Graham, became the new owner and continued to support the community for 30 years.  Following his retirement, the Dennis family, also from South Norfolk, stepped up to ensure the longevity of the firm.  Then in 1975 Bonnie R. Smith, also a native of South Norfolk and co-founder of Smith & Williams Funeral Home, along with his wife, Marie, purchased the funeral home and brought it to the level of service the community has come to expect.  In 2009, after several health issues, Bonnie decided to sell the business to S. Scott Stroud, the current owner.  Bonnie and Scott worked side by side for many years, and he and Marie knew that Scott  had the same love and commitment to Graham Funeral Home and the community which would continue their legacy of over 35 years.  So in January of 2010, Scott and his wife, Amy, became the fifth owners of this premier organization.
